Hofburg Palace.....
The Hofburg was originally a medieeval cstle, but today only the castle chapel remembers of its medieval past. The Hofburg was extended to a magfinicent residence when the Habsburg's power increased.

Anchor Clock
The Anchor Clock was built between 1911 and 1917 after the plans of the painter Franz von Matsch. It is situated on the oldest square of Vienna and represents a typical Art Nouveau design.
Graben Strabe
a nostalgia medieval street....
The Peterskirche was built in 792 and is together with the Ruprechtskiche among the oldest churches in Vienna. In 1701 it was pulled down and in the following 30 years it has been rebuilt by Johann Lukas von Hildebrandt. The church is an adaption to the Petersdom in Rome.
We stayed in Wombat Hostel located in Mariahilferstrabe....which was located at Metro Westabahnhof located 2/3 metro stops from centre of the town....very clean hostel with very clean beds at 23Euro quad sharing room...
Single Metro costs $E1.70. 24 hr @ $E5.70. But so far I haven't seen any inspector checking tickets yet....
