From Fisherman's Bastion, it's just a bus stop away to Buda Castle....As can be seen, Buda Castle is part of the UNESCO site, which ranges from Bank of Danube-as seen below, Buda Castle Quarter and Andrassy Avenue(errmm, i dunno where this is)

I happened to bump into 2 ladies who happened to wear their traditional costume - they were giving out leaflets on some shows going on that nite...Taken from about.com - Traditional Hungarian folk costumes are not as common as they once were, but they are still sometimes worn for weddings. Hungarian folk dress is colorful and richly embroidered. It may feature lace, sashes, boots, or embroidered shoes.

When people say that "it's a small world", I think it's true. This is not the first time it happened where I bumped into friends unexpectedly!! I bumped into my ex-colleagues from Gulf Air. They have already resigned and now with Emirates, but imagine how??? There are so many countries in the world, and we bumped into each other!!! So what you see in those movies, we often ask, wahhh....where got such a coincidence ???.....but it really happens...Zuzana (from Czech) and on the right Julie (Hungary)

Time for food...We just randomly went into a restaurant...near the castle...We had :-
1) Chicken stew - $FT415 = RM10
3) Soup - jokai bableves- bean soup jokai style - $FT330 = RM8
Not too bad all of the above ordered food, but the best was the fries with turkey...well can't really see the turkey, but the taste was the best among the 3... What's a meal without a beer in Hungary....."sapolt pohar" - small beer, it means, i think - $FT320 = RM8
Then we went to buy souvenirs.....The best place to buy souvenirs is in this market. It has not only souvenirs but also veges,
meat...anything you can expect in
a
market....It's called Nagyvasor-csarnok....hahaahah...don't
bother pronouncing it....just point in that map!!!!!!ahhaahha....there were so many cute and interesting things....that you just can't help but the urge to buy them.....the prices are all written there...so no bargaining...but this market is so "tourist feel" cos the things look like they are meant for tourists rather than the locals...there's 1 floor of souvenirs on the 1st floor...ground floor - mostly food stuffs...

Below is a video clip taken from Fisherman's Bastion....
