SIN - BNE - SIN (04 - 12 Mar 2009) - Part 2

We were supposed to do lots more things in BNE besides strolling around in just the city and eating. Mom and I overslept :P

07 Mar 2009
Had dinner in Eagle Street Pier. Lots of good restaurants there according to the internet. Mom and I chose the famous Fish & Chips, and Calamaris & Chips. Nice nice. Around A$16/RM35

City Hall, next to my hotel - The SebelQueen Street Mall.....My long-lost "friend" - Midori. Introduced by my best friend - Li Min, close to 10 years ago when a group of us went to Australia. She has a story to share when she sees this....hahahaha......08 Mar 2009
Chinatown...is a must for me when I'm abroad...dunno why.....weird...
South Bank - Good place to capture the skyline....

Brisbane EyeSouth bank is such a family orientated place as it has a man-made beach, swimming pool - free of charge along the bank and many restaurants as well....And we found our restaurant which overlooks the swimming pool.....Pretty good ambience. I'm sure it's of Greek origins due to the name and food served - Kapsalis, South Bank Parklands Our Seafood Platter (A$23.90/RM57). Felt a bit cheated as we were promised 2 oysters, but it was replaced by 2 prawns. But the portion is HUUUGGEEEE!!!
Lamb Shank (A$29)
