01 - 11 September 2008 - London/Scotland/Venice - Part 1

Checking my last input to the blog, it was 2 months ago. I shall start my outdated blog with Jeremy and my trip to Europe - London, Scotland and Venice!! He was here on 01 - 19 September 2008. As these places need no further introduction - haahahhaa....that's just an excuse for laziness....i'll just upload photos....

Trafalgar Square....

Need I explain more???.....Big Ben...

Inside London Eye.....The view's undoubtedly beautiful but it'd better be cos it costs $15 (pounds) !!!!!!!

Tower Bridge....

From London, we took Ryanair to Glasgow. It was only an hour flight. But we wanted to go to Edinburgh first. With your Ryan Air boarding card, you get discounts taking a train from PIW - Glasgow Airport into Glasgow town as well as to Edinburgh (if you wish). It's around $6.50 (pound) to Edinburgh - very cheap!!!!!

If you ask me what I remember most in Scotland, it'll be the Chinese Buffet!!! Hahaha..... Well that's because everyday we ate Chinese Buffet...and it's one of the best I've taken in Europe....When we reached it was a Friday, so it costs around $11(pounds). It's near St James Centre ( diagonally opposite it is a cinema building) Inside this building is the Chinese Buffet - called Chinois. There were heaps of prawns, pork rib....My every refill was prawns...hahahaha....well....I'm sure you will understand for someone staying in the Middle east...hehehehe.....Besides the Chinese Restaurant, they've quite a lot of selection of restaurants and pubs too. And alcohol is cheap with promotion.

Princess Street is the street for shopping. We stayed at Cockburn Street - Edinburgh Backpackers. It's very clean and convenient cos it's just 5 minutes walk from the Train Station.

Edinburgh - on Princess Street

Edinburgh - Cockburn Street....

Edinburgh Castle....

There was a wedding when we visited the Castle....

These little kids with kilt were soooo cute......
