Kathmandu / Muscat
This block is quite an unusual block ( block = a trip - can be day trips aka turnarounds or layovers ) We were supposed to do Bahrain - Kathmandu, reporting at 7.25pm. After briefing, the First Officer (FO) came in saying that the block has been postponed till tomorro early morning, reporting somewhere like 6.45am. Our Cabin Service Manager (CSM) repeated a few times, "This is a joke right?"....she asked the FO, and we also thought he must be joking. Initially, he smiled when he broke the news to us, but now, from the look of his face, he doesn't look like the topic is funny anymore (well, after being thought that he was joking, who would still smile?)
So what to do but to sit in the 1 hour transport to go back home and come back the next morning.
Kathmandu Airport So instead of having 24hrs in Kathmandu, we only had like 14 hours rest. So what's the best thing to do but to just sleep???

Muscat
This particular hotel that they put us in Muscat (Al-Nahda, resort and spa) is absolutely relaxing, not the best but it definitely feels like we are on holiday. You only get to stay in it after some shitty blocks or night turnarounds Delhi or some Peshawar:P So appreciate it.... on top of that, we get to have free breakfast as well!!!!!!!!!!!yummy....
I'm staying at the bottom villa....cool leh???also accompanying me is my bicycle... :)
The room....
Haven't done this kind of "young" activities for a long time, ie sitting on a swing, and cycling. The bicycles are everywhere in the resort. Just pick up any and enjoy!!!! Remembered the last time i've cycled was when I was in secondary school, close to 13 years ago, going for Malay tuition with Li Li and Evelyn. That time, the highway behind SS14 wasn't built yet. It was just soil. To me that was one of the dreadful tuitions cos I had to cycle to USJ3 under the hot sun, cos the tuition time was always 3 or 4 pm. But those were the days.....now, it's rather enjoyable....
Made a new friend in this flight, Ji-Young, Lee. Thought she's a Chinese mixed with her surname, but she's a pure Korean. Nice to meet you... Lee. Had to thank her as she invited me for a bicycle ride!!!!
